University of Virginia Health System Implements Medworxx Emergency Readiness System

TORONTO, October, 2008 - Medworxx, the makers of a strategic software platform that hospitals use to communicate, aggregate, and analyze knowledge, is pleased to announce that University of Virginia Health System (UVaHS) has chosen to adopt the Medworxx Emergency Readiness System. The University of Virginia Health System is a nationally renowned academic medical center committed to providing outstanding patient care, educating tomorrow's health care leaders and discovering better ways to treat disease. The Health System was looking for an automated tool to provide to those who will lead their emergency management efforts.

UVaHS will use the Medworxx Emergency Readiness System to automate their Emergency Preparedness and Response processes and procedures in order to become more efficient, improve collaboration, and increase awareness.
