At NorDx, we currently use the Policy & Document Management System (PDMS), implemented in the Fall of 2008. The software has provided several key improvements and helped us achieve our goals in managing policy and procedure documents, such as:
- Improved quality and efficiencies
- Specified accountabilities and time frames, and system-generated reminders help us stay on track with document reviews and revisions
- The software supports regulator's requirements and internal standards for consistent version and workflow processing and tracking
- Reduces our risk of regulatory citation as all users are using the same version of a document
- Easy, one-stop access to the most current policy and procedure document
Support from the Medworxx staff who provide training, product management, technical support and customer support has been outstanding! All staff members are very responsive; they are always soliciting suggestions for improvements to the software, and continue to build enhancements based on how the customer uses the system. A significant benefit for us has been our continued relationship with Medworxx staff.
